This is a really great mirror! I wanted a magnifying mirror (I actually purchased and returned a different one) but I wasn't sure exactly how much magnification I wanted. The multiple magnification options is the main reason I purchased this mirror. One of things that I was still concerned about was how large (or small, actually) the side magnifying mirrors would be since I was purchasing it mainly for that feature but it turns out they are just fine. I think it works very well for me because of how well you can move the panels around. The entire thing tilts back and forth, and the sides open fully (just past 180°). And, because it is so lightweight, I can move the whole thing around to put the mirrors right where I need them instead of me having to move myself around. The lights are nice and power on and dim easily. I have not yet tried to use it under battery power. The USB plug is on the bottom of the main mirror. It is a little bit awkward but not horrible. All in all, I am very happy with this mirror and I would purchase it again.Note: One of the photo descriptions on this listing says "USB Charging." This is not exactly true. It comes with a USB cord that must be connected to a power source. There are no built-in batteries. The only battery option is to add 4 AAA batteries. The main listing description makes this clear but the photo description is misleading. Because the listing is correct I didn't feel the need to take away any stars. I just wanted other buyers to be aware.
