Please note original review following this updated one: After reading our original review, the seller contacted me to resolve the distortion problem. He immediately sent out a new mirror with a lesser magnification. We are now extremely happy with the product. The seller was excellent in communicating, delivery and follow up and thus I am now pleased to give a 5 star rating. I would definitely buy from this seller again. However, I would purchase the 5x magnification rather than the 10x. Thanks again, seller, for your immediate response.We ordered this product because of past customer reviews. We were in the final weeks of a total master bath remodel and thought this would go well with the other high end installed products. It does have a very nice appearance, but....the magnified section of the mirror is extremely distorted. We have had many friends and family look at it, and everyone comes to the same conclusion...there's something definately wrong with the magnified section of the mirror.Unfortunately, this was installed by the contractor after the time frame for its return had expired. I had hoped that we could contact the seller directly and exchange it for a new one, but, I wasn't able to communicate directly with them. Perhaps they will read this review, and try to make this right! If so, I will write a follow up review. If not, I cannot recommend this product...This lamp installed easily, and the seller was great helping me decide between 7x and 10x magnification. It does pivot up and down but it would be better if you could move it up and down. When pivoting, it's still hard to get within the 3" if you are much shorter or taller than the installation height. When installing, keep this in mind.Beware, the wires are very thin/delicate inside the mirror. So if you are hardwiring, like I was, you have to be very careful while handling them. A couple of them broke and I had to re-strip the wires and reconnect them with new wire nuts.Works like its supposed to, though the led light is not as bright as need it sometimes, but you get used to itMounting was very easyThe light is perfectly bright, if it was any brighter it would probably create a glare. (I know the light doesn't look that bright in the pics I uploaded, but trust me, when your face is in front of it, it is PLENTY bright!) Both sides of the mirror have great clarity with no distortion at all!I wish I would have ordered with a bit less of a magnification but the mirror is sturdy, well made, easy to install with good lighting. I would order again.Started going off and on while in use shortly after installed!! Today, Sept. 1st stopped working all together. Of course I thought it would last quite a long time, threw away the packaging, can’t return! Watch what you buy and where it is coming from....Junk, junk, junk! Same price as a reputable brand!Cheaper product for the amount charged
