This is my 2nd palette I have gotten from DITO and I am still shocked by the fantastic quality. This is a mostly shimmer palette with one glitter and one matte. The shimmer quality rivals shimmers from companies that charge 3X as much. There are 2 color shifting shadows that lay beautifully, especially over a black matte base. My ONLY suggestion would be to replace the silver glitter for a matte black, but I am not keen on glitters in my palettes. That being just personal preference, I would rate this palette 10 out of 5 A++. I have no information about the quality of the brushes, I gave them to my niece.The colors are fun, but they aren't pigmented as well as expensive brands. So it doesn't look as thick or vibrant on your skin as it does in the case. The textures are nice with matte, satin, and glitter.I got this Eyeshadow Palette for my daughter who is into all the bright and colorful shadows. She likes this palette and wears it a lot. The shadows go on smooth and stay on all day. There is a lot of kick up in the pan when putting it on. Very pigmented and pretty.I got this Palette of eyeshadow to wear for a special occasion. I never thought it would be that great but I was totally surprised! The glitter eyeshadow was such a hit and looked really good for my evening out. It never creased or faded the whole evening. I also have sensitive eyes and this eyeshadow did not make my eyes water.Some of the colors look rather bright! I thought they would surly be to bold for me, but instead were very muted when applied. I really liked that. I thought the case and mirror were great but didn’t care so much for the brushes. I have other eyeshadow brushes that I always use.All in all I think this is good quality and I was very happy with it! I would recommend.I have very sensitive eyes, so I always keep in mind when reviewing that I'm a special case. These did make my eyes water. I'm not knocking down the stars because of that. My daughter also tried this palette and had no issues whatsoever. Those of us with special needs must use products designed for those needs. I knew when ordering this wasn't designed for the sensitive eye crowd.Pic 2 was a one stroke swipe of each color on my hand. The glitter in particular, yes I will agree with the other reviewers, it goes on heavy, which is great for the big looks my daughter does. I found it's smooth when applying the glitter and blends quite nicely in comparison to others I've tried. Removing face glitter is always a pain. I use a cream makeup remover and baby washcloth and then jump into the shower to remove the rest. Even so, glitter can linger.These are not the most pigmented I've used, but they did stay right where I put them when applying. I did the patting method and didn't have any problems getting enough color and getting it to stay put.Daughter, the makeup guru, gives this one four stars because for the price, it's not a bad deal at all. The glitter alone will surprise a lot of people who have tried glitter eye shadow and the top layer is glitter only. This is all the way to the bottom glitter. She feels that this is a great starter kit for those learning to work with bolder colors, as you can make these lighter or darker depending on your technique.First: this palette is packaged oddly. The palette is open and set within a see-through plastic case inside a box that has a see-through plastic top. From the outside of the whole container, I could see the palette colours clearly and also that there were two make up brushes.Once open, I discovered that the palette had a lid which was folded backwards so that, I suppose, the colours could be clearly seen by any customers.Anyway, got the palette out and folded the lid shut.The palette has a mirror on the inside of the lid. It's a good mirror and the brushes are also very good.Now to the palette. The glitter is a very strong turquoise blue but like most glitter eye shadows, it does not go on evenly so best IMO on top of another colour.While the colours look very intense (look at that orange!). they go on very muted indeed. I could barely see the yellow and the mauves and purple colours are also extremely muted. They look as though they would be intense but no. If you are ok w mostly muted colours, then you should be happy.On me, the colours were nowhere near as strong as the photos. I was ok with that, but buyers should be aware that some colours can be barely seen unless you are ready to go mad with the brush.So the colors are really nice however, if you look at the back you will see that most of the colors are not safe. If they are not safe, why are they sold for use around the eyes?Although this palette of eyeshadow has 15 beautiful and mostly vibrant colors, I would say it is not for those who use more earthy tones to get the natural daily look. This set if for the true make-up (eyeshadow) lovers, risk takers, think outside the box, make a statement types and I would even say makeup artists. If you love to experience with different colors and trends and make a bold statement, this is the one for you
