I wanted a travel mirror to be able to do my makeup and this one fits the bill for the size and price. I have a simple human lighted make up mirror for home, ( which is the best mirror ever! pricey but worth every penny) and I have a hard time putting on makeup when I travel because I am so used to mine at home. I have purchased a few others but didn't have the right magnification, ( it's very hard to find travel mirrors with less than 10X magnification or a normal size)or the mirror was distorted. This one is good, the size is right, not a little tiny mirror and it's 2 sided with 1x mag on one side and 7x mag on the other as well as lighted on both sides. The light is better than I thought it would be and has 2 settings. You can either use a USB cable or 4AAA batteries. It came with a nice velvet bag and a cleaning cloth. My only complaint is that I had to tighten the screw a little on the arm part because the "head" on the "neck" wanted to drop back if it was back too far, but I think it's good now. I would give this one a try if you don;t want 10X magnification for a travel mirror.this travel mirror has a regular mirror and magnifier. the lighting is adaptable to battery or electrical.light weight and compact to fit in your suitcase.It’s a perfect magnification for me. I personally don’t use the lights but use a brighter desk lamp instead but they are nice with several hue choices.Works perfectly for our needs. Light weight. Folds up nicely easy to pack for a trip.Brightness & compactI have been looking at small lighted travel sized mirrors for quite some time. None of the ones I’ve found had stellar reviews and my fear of wasting money on a crap product has caused me to simply not buy anything. But I NEEDED one. I am often “off the grid” and need something small and compact with proper lighting. Everything I’ve come across was either too big, or entirely too small, or had too many negative reviews regarding the quality of the lights/lighting. After much going back and forth every time I‘d come back from a trip determined to find something that fit my needs I finally found this one.All boxes checks. It’s the perfect size as far as mirror size as well as footprint. Folded down flat it’s easy to store either in my tiny camper bathroom or in my bag. The lighting is comparable to my larger makeup mirror I use regularly at home. The strength of magnification of the mirror is greater than that of the one I use at home which comes in handy given the amount of space I have to work in when I’m away from home. I also like that it is both battery operated or can be pulled into AC current via the usb cord provided. I try to eliminate the need for batteries as much as possible (landfill as well as they are expensive to keep replacing) but nice to know I don’t have to have electricity and the usb cable provides more plug-in options than a standard plug. The plastic it is made with seems durable enough given proper care. I don’t have a need to extend the arm where I’ll be using it the most so with only flipping up the mirror head with each use I expect it to hold up for a long time. The extra is having the included bag to keep it stored in which helps keeps it clean as well as aids in packing in while traveling. I’m so relieved to have found a winner, I just hate that it took so long to do it. Money well spent.The lighting on this mirror only lasted 5 monthdThis mirror is the perfect size for traveling. I always find that no matter where I stay the lights are never bright enough. With this makeup mirror I don't have to worry about that now. Also aging eyes have a harder time seeing details when doing makeup. The magnification on the mirror is perfect. One side a regular and the other is great for closer detailing. Thank you so much!
